Not sure how #1, 7, and 9 got in there, but the rest are all things I'm interested in.
I calculated today that as of 6pm I've done 104 hours of time-sheet entered work (eg not including lunch breaks, etc). 104/8 = an average of 13 hours/day over those 8 days. No wonder I feel like I need another holiday!
1 more day to go then a 3 day weekend - at least something good came out of APEC apart from being able to post photos of snipers on rooftops in Sydney!
I have moved house and am now living in Chippendale in Sydney.

While the manic house search and move was going on, I've been working rediculous hours on a website for Qantas showcasing their support of the Qantas Wallabies rugby team called Worldwide Wallabies which launched last week after a lot of hard work by a number of people at work. There's still 5 months of roll-out to go, but the start is there. Naturally I'd like everyone who reads this to join the site (it's free) to boost the numbers.
I have to say this is the single largest advertisement for a site I've worked on to date...

Follow this link to pics from the floor I work in (27) and our reception on Level 25.

The problem with that is that I only own 1 suit, 2 plain white shirts and 2 ties... well I did, until today!
Armed with money from mum to pay for clothes, I managed to get:
7 ties, 5 shirts, 2 pairs of cufflinks, a pair of leather shoes, and 2 suits. How much would you expect to pay? $5,000? $3,000? All this for under $1,400! Pretty good going if I do say so myself.

So that's it - 12 months in a nutshell (or at least a single LJ post)
So last night I went to see Robbie Williams for his First Sydney Concert this tour at Aussie Stadium in Moore Park. Work had been given a number of tickets as two of our channels, [V] and MAX were sponsors.I have to admit the only album of Robbie's I own is the Royal Albert Hall concert when he did all the swing songs. I knew it wouldn't be like that, but I didn't know any of his other songs well enough to even be able to name them. I'll admit it - I had fun.
We were in 'Oval A' which is the standing section directly around the stage. We managed to get fairly close, off to one side - we didn't want to be in the teen crush that would happen directly in front of the stage. As it turned out we had quite a good view, and were right near one of the big screens.
The set was amazing with hundreds of small screens set up as a video wall in a semi-circle behind him. At one stage he had climbed on top of the set and came down in a lift-type contraption - all very impressive. The other thing I loved was that it wasn't unbearably loud - the speaker set-up was very well done.
I unfortunately didn't take my camera with me, but I did get some shots on my phone which I have uploaded here.
I have found a friend who was looking for a housemate and am moving in. Tomorrow!
I called a place that rents utes and they had one avalable tomorrow for just $70 so I booked it.
Have to pack, organise what I need, etc, etc. I pick the ute up at 10am tomorrow and take it back by 3pm
As you can see it's a lot closer to the city from where I am now.
His work are sending him to Brisbane for 12 months.
AARGH
He doesn't like it, I don't like it, it totally sucks.
Now I have NFI what to do. I'm going rapidly insane living with my parents. I have no privacy and can't go anywhere without 100 questions being asked. Not hat I can go out anyway as it's so far from anywhere I'd want to go and say, drink, that I couldn't get back home again anyway.
AARGH!
I'm thirty-fucking seven years old and I'm being forced to live with my parents because I can't afford anything by myself and I won't live with complete strangers as everyone who advertises on share sites that I've met have turned out to be total freaks.
AARGH!
AARGH!
AARGH!
Oh and to top it all off, I'm having to move desks at work in a few weeks time - away from the people in the office who I like and actually get along with, and next to a group of people who I can't stand.
AARGH!
And again... AARGH!

It's nice to know Sydney's privately owned & operated toll roads can, as always, cope with weekday peak (Friday 7:45am) traffic.
This is part of the journey to work I pay $8.74 each way ($17.48 per day) for the privilege of using.
Edit: I didn't take a picture, but coming home was the same thing - traffic banked up and slowed to a complete stop in a 100kph zone on the tollway. *sigh*

This is just a test site - it's not officially launched yet so you are getting a sneak peak. More vids and pics will go up soon.
Note that when downloading the videos you may see an error stating something like "this content can not be displayed, download anyway?" We're looking into why this happens, but if you download the content it should play on the phone anyway - it does on the ones we've tested it with.
